OOC: Info Post Incoming!

furrybluefreak*Waves* Hey all, Kenneth here. Figured I should probably do an info post for my new character/first student character I am playing in game :D
Kurt Wagner is a member of the X-Men and goes by the codename Nightcrawler. Anyone who knows X-Men likely recognizes the “Fuzzy Elf” because honestly, who would love him? Kurt has always been one of my favorites of the X-Men so he was an obvious choice for me when I decided to bring in a student character.
• he is coming to Fandom as a freshman and aged 15 (is coming to Fandom to try and get another chance at things at a different school and with different people).
• Kurt is from the X-Men Evolution cartoon series so he is already high school aged in that canon.
• was born with the x-gene that triggered his unique mutations and powers at birth he is considered a mutant.
• he possesses superhuman agility, the ability to teleport, and the ability to climb walls and surfaces easily.
• Kurt’s agility is natural due to his flexible joints and bones and his body.
• his teleportation essentially is limited to a 2-3 mile range and he either has to clearly see where he is teleporting to or he has to have been there and have a clear picture of it in his mind- teleporting ‘blind’ can lead to repapering inside a wall or at the bottom of the ocean- not good!
• is covered in a dark indigo-colored velvety fur over his entire body (which is where his canon nickname of Fuzzy Elf came from), has two-toed feet, and three-fingered hands, yellow eyes, pointed ears, fang like canine teeth, and a prehensile tail.
• has a very ‘demon-like’ appearance which has always made it hard for him to fit in.
• he was found abandoned as a baby and raised by human parents in Germany, so Kurt has a very strong Germanic accent and at times can get hung up on certain words and phrases.
• is also extremely flexible and has near-perfect balance and body control.
• is very strong and easily lift another person and can teleport short distances with someone else in tow, though it is very disorientating for the other person when he does so.
• he is skilled at gymnastic feats and can also be good in hand-to-hand combat in the rare cases he gets into a fight.
• because of his unique mutations and body, he can often be seen in a hunched over or crouching position. He can stay like that for long periods of time with no issues due to his flexibility.
• is a loner for the most part but that has largely stemmed from the abuse and discrimination he has received for being a mutant and tying to blend into society (classic X-Men theme if anyone has ever seen anything of the fandom).
• he is the funny man and a prankster and loves to have fun and hang out with people. It’s somewhat of a coping mechanism for him and he often resorts to humor to detract from himself and his odd appearance and the awkward situations it can cause.
• is a loyal friend to those who earn his trust. Once you are considered a friend you have a loyal one- just don’t prove him wrong in trusting you because you will likely never win that trust back once it has been shattered.
Canon Divergent/Tweaking Points
• in X-Men lore in general, Kurt has always been portrayed as a very devout Catholic. In Evolution there is no indication either way of him being religious but I will be playing him as such since that is a big part of his overall character and personality and to me is a very important part of who he is.
• in X-Men Evolution he is shown only flirting with/dating girls. In the version of Kurt coming to Fandom High, I am taking a more open approach to this and saying he is at the very least questioning things still. Read as- I am open to see what happens during the course of his time in Fandom XD
• he has an image inhibitor in X-Men Evolution, that basically makes him appear as a normal human when he is wearing it. Kurt will not have the inhibitor when he comes to Fandom.
• later in the canon for the show, Kurt learns who his real mother is- but he is coming to Fandom before that so he is still unaware of his heritage and lineage beyond what his adoptive parents have given him.
• in canon for young Kurt he does know a version of Kitty and some of the other X-Men on the island may know an older version of Kurt. I am open to playing any of this out however people want.

• I live in Florida, USA, I am 40 years old, and work full time as a freelance writer
• I have a wife and a special need 9-year-old son
• I am part of the LGBTQ+ community and am trans
• I used to do RPs years ago when I was in college but haven’t done anything with it really till I found Fandom (about 6-7 months ago now if you can believe it!)
• I am a huge geek and love all things sci-fi and fantasy- HUGE Lord of the Rings fan!
• I write fanfiction and have done so off and on since I was like 10, before I even knew what fanfiction really was XD I write for LOTR, Resident Evil, Haven, and Final Fantasy with more in the works soon hopefully!
• I also make fan videos now and then when I have time and also dabble in fanart stuff when I am able to
• If I am not working or doing RP or art stuff I enjoy reading, cooking, painting, and being out in nature
• I am always up for planning something out in game or just throwing characters at each other to see what happens so if anyone ever wants to do something hit me up or just toss someone at one of my guys XD
